To enable IMAP for Gmail or Google Workspace Accounts: Failure to do so will result in migration-related issues. Please make sure that you have enabled IMAP before you start the migration process. Open Control Panel and then click on Mail (32-bit) Now that you have enabled POP in Gmail and enabled Outlook to access your account you need to configure your account in Outlook On the Sign-In & Security screen locate ‘Allow less secure apps:’ and click the toggle to turn ON.On the My Account screen locate Sign-In & Security and click ‘ Apps with account access‘.At the top right of your browser window left click your profile photo/icon and click the My Account button.Confirm that your settings display ‘ POP Status: POP is enabled‘.Choose what to do with messages once Outlook receives them.
